The Dream of a Familiar

Artist Comments:
I got this done sometime last week, but the dream was sometime last year. All I can vaguely remember was this crow like bird kept screeching at me that it was my familiar for some quest and my mother being pleased as punch that I had a 'pretty pet bird.'
Lets make something clear, I am TERRIFIED of birds, so yes that stayed true in the dream so this bird 'friend' got pissed off with me every time I flailed around when it tried to fly and land on me.... I got pecked a lot for not wanting to deal with it and listen to it. ;w;

It was a pretty bird and so, I decided to sketch it on a piece of paper and then I used a bunch of random photos my sister had of crows and some old photos of the chickens we used to have to make a more or less accurate depiction of this bird.
(I do it no justice.... it was so much more detailed, but I've rested myself of this drawing before it collects more dust.)
